Welcome to the cat cafe -- Coffee and Cats!

It's a quiet, well-run cat cafe featuring a half dozen permanent residents and another half dozen adoptable cats. The coffee is good, fresh, and prompt, and the sole employee is ... well... he looks a bit like he should be in a gang with his height, long hair, and goatee. However, he's incredibly gentle, shy, and absolutely wonderful with cats and small children. (Even if he's afraid he will break something.)

Come in, find a seat, and enjoy the atmosphere. Open from 11am to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm every day.

Post Court Merc AU 2

[Asahi is in the rifle range, sprawled out on the ground and testing one of his new long range anti-tank guns. He's more serious like this than usual, his expression sharp and on. It's the only time this calm, fierce serenity settles over him, here and on the battlefield. Before he's too anxious, afterwards the adrenaline leaves him a shaky mess of nerves. Even when he's training with others, he's too self conscious to perform adequately. Here though, in the nearly empty range with ear muffs silencing all the rest of the world, he's able to focus. It's his form of meditation, and it leaves him more relaxed and comfortable than almost any other time.]

[The last mission for the crows was not one of their best. Mission accomplished, but not without casualty. It's a battered group in their area.

Asahi is the worst so far, patched back up after a IED had exploded beside him while he was coming around a corner. Thankfully the blast had been more boom than bite. One arm is bandaged from shoulder to wrist, and his face partially flash burned. His leg is elevated slightly and splinted and bandaged.

He is asleep after the doctors hit him with painkillers and shooed the rest of the crows from the room. He looks bad, but the general consensus is that it could have been so much worse, and he's damned lucky.]

Court is a little castle town made up of large stone towers and wall. The towers of the dorms takes up one side, with the lake at a distance in the other direction. There's other freestanding buildings: a library, a hotel and brothel, the shrine, and several shops.
