Welcome to the cat cafe -- Coffee and Cats!

It's a quiet, well-run cat cafe featuring a half dozen permanent residents and another half dozen adoptable cats. The coffee is good, fresh, and prompt, and the sole employee is ... well... he looks a bit like he should be in a gang with his height, long hair, and goatee. However, he's incredibly gentle, shy, and absolutely wonderful with cats and small children. (Even if he's afraid he will break something.)

Come in, find a seat, and enjoy the atmosphere. Open from 11am to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm every day.

[catching both of his hands to hold him in place]

Yes, in front of me. I want to know you'll be there when I need to cry. I don't want to hide it from you, so please don't hide it from me.

It's different. I don't mind if you cry in front of me, but I shouldn't be crying in front of you about stupid Iwa-chan! It's not fair.

It is fair. I want all of you, the good, the bad, the happy, the sad. Every piece of you. And Iwaizumi is a piece of you. He's been with you since you were kids. He's a huge part of your life. I don't expect you to simply cut him out of your life without it leaving a huge gaping hole in your heart. If you need to cry, cry. If you want to talk about him, I'm willing to listen. I don't want either of us to have to dance around him like he's some dirty secret. Okay?

Okay. But you're going to have to talk about your ex too or it really will be one sided and... I don't want my relationship to be one sided again.

[aceofcrows]

Ah, I guess I can do that.

[shootykawa]

It's important... to share things.

[Wiping his eyes.]

[aceofcrows]

Yeah. Good and bad, we need to share it.

[shootykawa]

[He sniffles a little.]

Can we wait a few minutes to leave? I don't want to go out with my eyes all puffy.

[aceofcrows]

[chuckles softly and stands up, kissing Oikawa's forehead before heading to the kitchen]

I'll get you a cool rag. It'll help the swelling.

[shootykawa]

You're so nice to me.

[And he shakes his head because he's tearing up again.]

[aceofcrows]

[he comes back with a kitchen towel wet from the tap]

I hear you're my boyfriend.

[shootykawa]

[He puts the cloth over his eyes and then says quietly.]

Iwa-chan would have told me to suck it up and stop crying. He always thought I was a cry baby.

[That might have been due to growing up with Oikawa and seeing him cry over a lot of trivial things.]

[aceofcrows]

[he moves behind Oikawa and wraps his arms around his shoulders, pulling him back against his stomach]

I don't think tears are weak. You've got a lot of emotions and you wear them close to the surface. That's pretty special.

[shootykawa]

[He whines a little but accepts the hug.]

You really think so?

[aceofcrows]

I do. It took a very long time and I'm still trying to remember it most days, but I want to believe it.

[shootykawa]

I bet you look a lot prettier when you cry than I do.

[He takes the cloth off and he kind of looks like a mess. It's still red but less swollen.]

[aceofcrows]

I'm not so sure about that.

[shootykawa]

Hopefully we won't find out any time soon. Not because I won't be the for you. I just don't want my boyfriend to be sad. And that goes double if it's my fault.

[aceofcrows]

I agree.

[presses a gentle kiss to his lips]

[shootykawa]

[He makes a tiny little surprised sound at the kiss.]

[lingers a moment and then steps back]

If you're done with breakfast, we should go see how much Ace has destroyed at your place.

Destroyed??

[He's worried now.]

[aceofcrows]

Hopefully not, but it's possible. He had a lot of energy at the cafe.

[Gathering up his things and probably forgetting half of them.]
